-A 'Possum Poetry Piece-
by Our New Friend, Hoyt Donaldson
There once was a possum,
He was small and grey,
He liked to eat mac and cheese,
Almost every day.
Occasionally he also,
Liked to dine on fish,
But asparagus and cauliflower,
Was his secret wish.
Now often times the possum,
Would go to Mickey-Dees,
Occasionally he’d opt out for,
A trip to Tastee Freeze.
But when he found a Dairy Queen,
He would often stay,
Under the dumpster right out back,
For many happy days.
But his indecision,
Would finally do him in,
A truck in front of Burger King,
Turned off his possum grin…..
