Postscript: The Dying Place by Ron Warren
Last week, Comx Box presented an original narrative that was written by Ron Warren that was entitled, "The Dying Place". As a follow-up to Ron's short story, I wanted to provide some backup information to the piece as provided by Ron.
-The LTC John Anderson took command after the commander was killed by musketry at Murfreesboro. He was a lion. Read report below.

Mulberry, TN is between Fayetteville and Lynchburg, TN. They make Jack Daniel’s in Lynchburg.
Mary Patrick locked the Yankees inside the springhouse. True story. Almost killed them. Some kid came along and let them out.
The people from this area fought in Cheatham’s Brigade/Division. Murfreesboro was hard on these people. Franklin was a bitch too. The Emancipation Proclamation came into effect the day after the first day at Murfreesboro but from what I have read nobody mentions it while discussing this battle. The 8th Tennessee Volunteer Infantry took over 85% casualties there. A lot of these boys got better at home. Some didn’t.There are two communities close by named Molino, where my aunt Kay and uncle Billy Joe live, and Camargo about 3 miles away. These places are named after places in Mexico. The Mexican war gave Tennessee the name of the Volunteer state.
There were a couple of moonshine raids that got ugly. More feds died than locals. My grandmother’s oldest brother was murdered by the feds. He in buried in the same cemetery. These people knew their wildcat.
Two WW1 soldiers are buried here. Both died during the last month of that war. One in the last 30 minutes in a piss-poor charge for a General's glory.
Word is that a soldier at Chickamauga had his jaw broken and fellow soldiers chewed food to keep him alive.
